Speaking to the players today, Hugo Perez sad he is very happy to come to Solomon Islands and be part of Marist FC for the next couple of weeks. "We are happy to come here to be part of Marist FC, we come here to help you, and also to learn from you as well.” Hugo said.
22 year old Vaccaro also stated he is happy to come to Solomon Islands; “It will be a complete new experience for me, my job specifically is on physical/conditioning fitness training and I am looking forward to working closely with the players also to learn about your style of football”.
Speaking to Marist Official site; Marist head coach Juliano Schmeling stated that he was able to bring the two Spaniards over to Solomon Islands because he had a good relationship with Hugo costa. “Hugo is my old friend, I knew him well; the young fitness coach definitely will bring some ideas with him from Barcelona and it is a great privilege to have them with us” he further stated.
