Marist Media filming training sessions.
Marist Football Club are filming training sessions, assessing and closely monitoring the players as new season looms. With the new season 2017-2018 set to kick off next month, pre-season preparations are already underway and one of the method introduced during trainings is video analysis. Head coach Juliano is using video analysis to his advantage by having training sessions recorded. The coach then meticulously studies the footage then uses it in team talks during the week.
Video analysis is one of the more widely utilized methods of soccer performance analysis in modern football and our coach Juliano is introducing it in training sessions to assess players and break down each individual tendencies. During training sessions, the analysis focus specifically on performance where the coach assess the players involvement, the action concerned, time and outcome of the specific activity, raw features of individual movements, Intensity of movements (identifying fatigue and measuring work rate). The video analysis enables the coach to specifically identify the team’s strengths/weakness and will help to evaluate whether the training program is been effective in improving match performance.
The objective is to build a complete team and to be able to put every single talent into the team. The club is enjoying great success under the Brazilian last season and is looking forward to repeat it again this coming new season.
