Marist Football Club
OUR national futsal captain, Elliot Lilo Ragomo will not be able to join our Kurukuru for the September Asian games in Turkmenistan.
Elliot is at the right path in Minas at the moment, he is living, breathing futsal physically emotionally and mentally and the level he’s in at the moment is a miracle. Solomon Islands futsal and even Oceania futsal has never had such an opportunity and such opportunity may never come around again. Kurukuuru Asia tour is just another tournament, and the management believes it will be the best opportunity to give our young futsal players a chance to expose themselves to the quality futsal beyond Oceania.
Ragomo has just secured his place in the Minas Tenis senior team to compete in the Liga Nacional de Futsal (LNF) Brazilian premier professional futsal league. The level itself is one of the highest in the world and it demands the maximum physical, emotional and mental strength from the individual player, therefore Ragomo needs to get himself well prepared for the season.
Speaking from Brazil, Elliott confirmed he will not be able to join Kurukuru for the tour. “I would love to be part of Kurukuru Asia tour but I think at the moment it’s a very crucial time for me, I’ve just promoted to the next level and my future with Minas Tenis Clube is very important at the moment.”
Ragomo has recently promoted into the senior Minas Clube for the Liga Nacional de Futsal (Brazil professional league) and has been presented with minas Number 17 jersey just yesterday.
